Do you rent harps?  If so, how does your rental program work? 

Please visit our page on our rent to own program for more information.  Also, though the vast majority of harps we rent are lever harps, we do occasionally have some pedal harps available for short term rentals.  Please check for availability.

What is the VHC bounty program?

All lever harps purchased through VHC are eligible to be traded in towards the purchase of a pedal harp for the full purchase price* within five years of the date of purchase.

*Full trade-in value is subject to inspection.  Structural and cosmetic damage may reduce the trade-in allowance.

Do you deliver harps?

Yes.  Our pedal harps are shipped nationally with either ALG or ABF freight.  Smaller harps may use a different carrier depending on the size of the harp.  We recommend the harps be insured through the shipping company or with outside instrument insurance prior to shipping.  The cost of delivery will vary depending on the size of harp and destination.  Please contact us for a quote.  Transit time will be approximately 7 business days to most locations.  Please note: extreme hot or cold temperatures will delay transit time.  You will be provided with a tracking number to follow your harp's journey to its new home.

Do you sell harps on consignment?

Yes.  All harps sold on consignment are due to inspection.  Also, it is our policy that all consignment instruments are completely restrung and regulated prior to being put on the floor.  This can be waived if there is proof of a restring and regulation by a certified technician within one year.  If you are interested in selling your harp on consignment, please contact us for more details.

Can a particular harp be reserved for me to try?

Yes.  We require a fully refundable and transferable deposit to hold a harp.  You will have two weeks from the date of deposit to make your decision.  The deposit amounts are as follows: pedal harp $200 and lever harp $100.

I would like to try a harp in your other location.  Could it be transferred to the closer showroom?

Yes.  In this case, we do require a deposit to reserve the instrument.  The amount is the same for a regular deposit: pedal harp $200 and lever harp $100.  You will have two weeks from the date of delivery to the preferred showroom to make your decision.

I need to get my harp regulated.  Do you regulate harps at your store?

We regularly have technicians come through the area.  Please check the regulation schedule for availability or more information.  Also note that all Lyon & Healy and Salvi warranty regulations must be performed by a member of the Lyon & Healy/Salvi Technician’s Guild for the warranty terms to remain in effect.

Do your harps come with a warranty?

All new harps purchased through VHC will carry their respective manufacturers’ warranties which are as follows:

I don’t see online ordering for strings accessories.  Do you carry these items?

We do keep a large supply of strings and accessories.  Please visit our accessories page to see which items we carry.  At this time, we do not have an online ordering system in place, so please contact us by phone or email to place an order.
