Going Nuts!

A Harpist’s Guide to the Nutcracker

Many of us have experienced the magic of the Nutcracker; some as spectators and some as the harpist in the accompanying orchestra. But can you imagine having played the ballet over 1,000 times? Mindy Cutcher can! As the principal harpist for the Philadelphia Ballet, Mindy has performed The Nutcracker for 30 years. Join her as she guides us through the role of the harp in this timeless holiday classic and shares her secret as to how she keeps her energy and sanity after all these years. Needless to say, she also has some interesting behind the scenes stories to share.
